I enjoy listening to people’s life stories and naturally develop close relationships with them. I love helping people through personal challenges, help ease emotional burdens, and empower them to achieve a healthier mindset.
My style of psychotherapy is rooted in Internal Family System, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy that comes from strengths-based perspective to assist you in reaching your goals and finding balance in life
I strive to provide a safe, collaborative experience for my clients, combining empathy with professional excellence to guide the therapeutic process. I work from a client-centered perspective and believe that we all have the power to heal ourselves. My job is to help facilitate your healing process.
Outside of the therapy room, I am a proud mom of two children. I also enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, and traveling. I believe that each one of us can be fulfilled in our lives. If you are ready to explore what is getting in your way and figure out what to do next, then give me a call!

Dave Ursillo
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A)
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) with a passion for helping clients live the story of their lives that they want to be telling.
As a fourth-generation American of Italian and Irish ancestry from Rhode Island, I grew up immersed in rich family and cultural stories that shaped my earliest understanding of my identity. But as I grew up, I became enamored with discovering the unapologetic truth of who I knew myself to be.
My journey to understand my true self led me through the world of politics and government, into the creative arts and small business, life coach, independent publishing, professional yoga teaching, consulting, and traveling the world. In the therapy room as a mental health counselor is where I have found my eclectic range of knowledge, passions, and experiences come together to create powerful therapeutic alliances with clients from all identities, backgrounds, struggles, and goals.
My therapeutic style is evidence-based, collaborative, trauma-informed, human-centered, and, most of all, kind, compassionate, and intentional. I consider myself a holistic, liberation-oriented therapist who strives to support clients in their autonomy, independence, and personal and cultural definitions of wellness—not my own, and not the establishment’s.
As a client, you can expect to be invited into mindful, here-and-now reflections to tap into the heart of your “felt” experiences to build and expand emotional insight. We lean into curiosity and small moments of courage to explore the stories, beliefs, and ideas that may be holding you back from wellness and healthful functioning.
I am experienced in working with adults aged 18 to 58, from first-generation college students and post-grads to young professionals, first-time parents, mid-career and late-stage workers approaching retirement, and everyone in between. I have become experienced in supporting those who identify as men with issues unique to being male-identifying. I also have experience working with survivors of trauma, first responders, law enforcement personnel, and active and retired military.
Whoever you are and wherever you’ve been, I believe that you are the author of your life's story. As your therapist, I hope to help you live the story of your life in ways that feel free, safe, and unapologetically you.
